Every six months we’re giving away £200 to one lucky resident who pays their rent or services charge by Direct Debit.

Direct Debit is the simplest and most convenient way to pay your monthly rent and service charge. Here’s why:

• free to set-up - and you only have to do it once
• no more paperwork - or hassle writing cheques
• better budgeting - you know how much leaves your account, and when
• one less thing to think about - no more forgetting to pay
• if your rent increases or decreases, in most cases, your Direct Debit will change automatically.

All you have to do is set up a Direct Debit by 23 November and you will automatically be entered into the £200 prize draw at the end of the month, as well as all future draws (terms and conditions apply).

Terms and Conditions

1. Southern Housing Group means Southern Housing Group Limited, James Butcher Housing Limited, South Wight Housing Association Limited and Southern Home Ownership Limited.
2. The competition is open to all Southern Housing Group residents who are signed up to Direct Debit for rent or service charges and make regular payments.
3. By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by any competition instructions.
4. To be included in the November draw residents must sign up to Direct Debit payments by 23 November. However any arrangements set up after this date will automatically be entered into subsequent Direct Debit draws as long as they are making regular payments.
5. There will be one winner per draw and the winner will be picked at random.
6. The prize is £200 and there is no alternative.
7. The decision of the Judges over every instance shall be final and Judges shall have the right, at their discretion, to change the rules of the competition while it is running if it appears to them that it would be equitable or appropriate to do so, including the extension of the closing date whereupon there will be an announcement of any such extension at the first reasonable opportunity. No correspondence will be entered into or comment issued on any matters concerning the competition, and no reasons given for any decision made by the Judges.
8. The winner will be notified by email, telephone or letter and announced on the website and/or in the resident newsletter Open Door 2009; Southern Housing Group reserves the right to publish the names of the winners and runners-up, and the winning entries themselves, and all winners are required to give their full co-operation to all requests by Southern Housing Group or a promoter in connection with publicity for the competition, their entry, the prize or otherwise.
9. The name of the winner will be sent to anyone who requests the same within three (3) months of the draw. Requests should be sent to the postal or email address for competition entries and, if postal, should be accompanied by an SAE.
