Working Opportunities Fund
The Working Opportunities Fund offers grants of up to £500 to residents looking for support into employment. This may be for those that need financial assistance in either securing work or making that transition into employment more sustainable.
Examples of how funding may be used include:
- Buying clothing for interviews
- Buying work tools
- Covering the first month of travel costs
- Contributing to childcare costs
- Registering with accredited professional bodies
We consider each application on an individual basis and applicants are expected to make a contribution to the costs themselves.
