JBHA Governance
James Butcher HA is a Charitable Industrial and Provident Society (no.16602 R), registered with the Housing Corporation (registration no LH0111). The Housing Corporation Regulatory Code, introduced in 2002, sets out the Corporation's regulatory framework and the fundamental obligations of housing associations.
JBHA Board
JBHA's strategic direction is set Group-wide by the Board of Southern Housing Group and at local level by the Board of JBHA which is responsible for overseeing the work and direction of the organisation.
The Board comprises nine members, the Chair being a member of the Group's Board. There are two tenant members on the Board. Meetings are held quarterly and the Board reviews the progress of the organisation's corporate plan, improvement action plans and key strategic policies.
The Board routinely receives reports on all key performance areas.
